If you have ever wondered “Why did the Trial of Thomas Becket take place at Northampton Castle?” or “Where did Northampton’s large Castle stand and are there any remains?” Then come along to our July talk & tours! Info Here!
Our ‘Becket at the Castle’ exhibition is now up and running at Northampton Museum! Come along and find out all about the 850th anniversary of Thomas Becket’s trial and Northampton Castle! Open until 31st August.
We are also holding workshops at the museum during the school summer holidays Dates; 6, 8 & 13 August 2014
Make a Lego castle! Learn about castle life on our iPad and laptop! Dress up! Castle jigsaws! More info here.

The Friends of Northampton Castle (FONC) aim to promote awareness of our heritage and in this website we hope to provide a useful resource for all those who have an interest in the fascinating history of Northampton.

The next FONC open meetings will be held on Friday July 4th at the Old Black Lion pub at 6PM – all welcome! (map).
